Daniel Rowbottom is a 2013 OF/MIF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Broadview Heights, OH who attends St. Ignatius HS. Medium athletic build, has some present strength. Left handed hitter, rock back load from a wide base, good balance, simple swing mechanics, very short and quick to the ball, stays inside but can open up and turn on the ball, too, present bat speed, high average hitting approach and flashes power. 7.04 runner, plays both infield and outfield, low arm slot, shows best arm strength when working downhill, quick release, tools/athleticism to play LF/2B, future position to be determined. Bat is his big tool. Good student. Named to the Top Prospect Team.
