Josh Morgan is a 2014 SS/3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Corona, CA who attends Orange County Lutheran HS. Strong athletic build, especially in the lower half. Polished defensive actions, athletic plays on the move, good footwork and balance, has quick actions and can play defense with some flash, very good arm strength with carry, compact arm with a quick release, high level defensive skills. Right handed hitter, tall open stance, has some drift into contact, short quick stroke to the ball, tends to fall into the contact zone, loose extension out front, has strength and bat speed. Good student, verbal commitment to UCLA.
