Zachary Warren is a 2014 LHP with a 6-5 195 lb. frame from Vineland, NJ who attends St Augustine Prep. Long and slender build. Slow paced high leg raise delivery, deliberate mechanics, long loose arm action, high 3/4's arm slot, low effort release, throws easily and is good out front, can improve front side use. Mid to upper 80's fastball, topped out at 89 mph, mostly straight with some arm side running action at times. Big curveball with deep 11/5 shape, can tighten up but spots it very well, developing change up. Type of young projectable left hander who could really come on with additional strength. Very good student, verbal commitment to Tulane. Follow closely.
