Alejandro Salazar is a 2015 MIF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Kissimmee, FL who attends Gateway HS. Lean athletic build, has some present strength with more to come. Right handed hitter, loose tension free swing, very good bat speed, good hitting rhythm, short and fast to the ball, ball jumps off the barrel, hard mid field line drive contact, very sound overall approach. 7.15 runner, feet work well in the infield, good to the ball, soft hands, can speed up release, outstanding arm strength for his age. Has all the tools to develop into a national level prospect.
