Benjamin Koff is a 2015 RHP/OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Newberry, FL who attends Buchholz HS. Tall, strongly built, proportioned athlete with good speed. Ran a 6.82 60 yard dash. Tops at 88 mph on the mound and pitches from a high three-quarter arm slot. Has a lower effort releases and attacks the zone with his fastball. Mixes an 11-5 curveball with solid depth at 70 mph. Mixes a solid 77 mph changeup. More velocity on the way. Shows outstanding outfield arm strength and good footwork. Has range and instincts. Bats right-handed, works from a simple setup and shows big pull power. Stays inside the ball consistently and has good bat speed. Uses his speed effectively. High upside offensive talent.
