Paul Tillotson is a 2016 RHP/OF with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Monument, CO who attends Lewis-Palmer HS. Very solid athletic build, has strength and looseness. Long and loose arm action, has some energy in his delivery but repeats it well, athletic actions on the mound, swings the gate out front from drop and drive mechanics. Steady upper 80's fastball, topped out at 90 mph, gets some downhill plane and gets excellent running life at times, can spot his fastball and backdoor it to the glove side, which is very unusual for a teenage pitcher, works the bottom of the zone well, can pitch with his fastball. Nice change up that he could throw more, consistent arm speed and release from his fastball. Slows a big on his curveball but gets good depth and shape and can improve quickly with adjustments. Knows how to pitch and has some present weapons, should have immediate success at the next level. Very good student, verbal commitment to Nebraska.
