Gus Cunningham is a 2016 SS/RHP with a 6-0 168 lb. frame from Fort Myers, FL who attends Canterbury. Cunningham has a lean athletic build. Hits from a square stance. Aggressive line drive approach with good bat speed. Hands work well and has good extension out front. Flashes power potential and consistently gets barrel to ball. Defensively, has athletic actions and good range to back hand. Makes accurate throws with a quick release. Also pitches, uses full over head wind up with a short arm action to 3/4 arm slot. Change up shows potential with good sinking action. Works fast and made quick work of the hitters in his inning. Curveball has 11/5 shape. Outstanding student.
