Austin Kubala is a 2013 1B/OF with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from St Johns, FL who attends Arlington Country Day School. Large projectable frame with a strong build. Good arm across the field from first base, short arm action, good fielding actions, good footwork around the bag at first base. Has an upright stance at the plate, high hands, aggressive approach, loose quick hands, good rhythm, fluid stroke, has bat speed, uses bottom half well, lift in his swing, pop in his bat, makes hard contact when he squares up the ball. Is an interesting prospect to follow. Is a good student.
