Robbie Lively is a 2016 RHP with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Helena, AL who attends Helena HS. Tall and slender build, loose long limbed actions. Submarine style pitching mechanics although he will raise up to a higher angle at times, works from the stretch, mid-70's fastball gets very good running action from any angle, can spot fastball well low in the zone especially to the arm side. Nice change up with feel for the pitch and good fading action. Slider has a short sweeping break from the lower slot. Throws strikes and is comfortable and effective from this pitching style. Excellent student.
