Trace Loehr is a 2014 SS with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Milwaukie, OR who attends Putnam HS. Smaller athletic build, good compact present strength. Left handed hitter, big closed shoulder tuck to start swing, leans in, tends to stay closed, quick hands, looks to pull the ball, solid line drive contact, can improve balance in set up, has barrel skills and squares the ball up consistently. 6.77 runner, has quick feet and good footwork in the infield, clean exchange, has some arm strength and carry on throws, arm works better at second base and moving through the ball.
