Zeke Young is a 2015 LHP/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Fallbrook, CA who attends Great Oak. Long frame, large with broad sculpted shoulders, developing strength. Pitches from a three quarter arm slot with a clean projectable arm action. Poor direction to stride, offline drop and drive mechanics with effort, quality arm but relying heavily on arm speed to generate velocity. Good break and shape on 1-7 curveball with depth, projectable pitch, used it aggressively to left handed hitters on the inner half, fastball has cutting action due to stride direction towards 3B. Tall in the box, loose swing, long finish, aggressive hitter with good bat speed, hard pull contact, potential to develop power. Excellent student.
