Eddie Silva is a 2014 SS/3B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Miramar, FL who attends Archbishop Edward McCarthy HS. Strong athletic build especially in the hips and thighs. 7.19 runner, good arm strength, stays balanced and makes accurate throws, soft hands, will need to improve his foot quickness to stay in the middle infield, third base future profile. Right handed hitter, open stance, high hand start, has quick hands, exaggerated inside the ball approach, has the strength and bat speed to open up his swing and drive the ball to the gaps, mostly mid to opposite field contact now.
