Manuel Sanchez is a OF/1B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from San Juan, DOM who attends LaSalle HS. Outstanding athletic build, very strong with lots of room to get stronger, looks bigger than listed and projects to 6-5/215+ when mature. Right handed hitter, tall stance, no stride and limited weight shift, loose extended swing with very good bat speed, ball comes of the barrel loud and hard, huge power potential, hands stay short to the ball and handled game velocity well, will need better shift/rhythm at some point, high ceiling hitting talent. 7.07 runner, moves well in the outfield with athletic actions, good footwork, long easy arm action with good arm strength. 17 year old Dominican who will be eligible to sign on July 2.
