Jonathan Worley is a 2016 RHP with a 6-5 205 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends High Tech HS. Outstanding young pitcher's build with broad shoulders and a high waist, very projectable physically. High leg lift delivery, compact arm action that hides the ball well, somewhat cross body on release. Fastball topped out at 91 mph, mostly straight but commanded well to both sides of the plate, will occasionally drop his release slot and get under it. Short slider with a slurve-type break that will flash sharpness and tilt at times. Developing change up. Lots of physical ceiling with more repetitions and consistency in off-speed stuff. Outstanding student, verbal commitment to San Diego.
