Austin King is a 2019 C/3B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Ponder, TX who attends Argyle HS. Medium build with some present strength and room for more. Right handed hitter, leg lift trigger with good repeatable timing, short and direct swing, hits the ball out front, mid field to pull approach, consistent high contact/high average type of swing. Shows good athleticism behind the plate, has quick hands and a good release, makes accurate throws with a compact release, developing arm strength. Good student, verbal commitment to Oklahoma.
