Ryan Wimbush is a 2018 RHP/OF with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Palm Beach Gardens, FL who attends William T. Dwyer HS. Long and slender build, lots of room to get stronger, broad shoulders. Over the top extended arm action, will occasionally not get over his front side, deep arm in back, creates big angle to the plate and is deceptive. Fastball to 88 mph, has been up to 91 mph at PG events previously, gets consistent hard cutting action on his fastball, cutting action is pretty dynamic at times. 12/6 curveball is big when he's on top of it. Developing change up. Cutter is a big equalizer. Pretty unique set of mechanics and pitches. Good student, verbal commitment to Miami.
