Daniel Caylor is a 2017 2B/OF, RHP, MIF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Lehigh Acres, FL who attends Riverdale HS. Has a lean frame, athletic build, and room to continue to put on additional muscle. Posted a 7.28 second sixty yard dash. From the infield, showed smooth actions and fluid movements to the baseball, made online throws with arm strength up to 82 mph. From the outfield, was quick to the baseball and made throws with solid strength and accuracy. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a leg lift trigger. Has good bat speed and hand quickness, stays on a line drive swing plane with a good bat path, lower half gets to solid hitting position. On the mound, throws from a three-quarters arm slot with short arm action in the back. Fastball is commanded well, curveball has smaller break. Pounds the zone with a lot of strikes. Good student.
