Anthony Fidanza is a 2017 RHP/SS with a 6-0 168 lb. frame from Zachary, LA who attends Zachary HS. Has a lean frame, athletic build, and sign of present strength with more to come as he continues to put on additional muscle. Posted a 7.03 sixty yard dash. On the mound, throws from an over the top arm slot with long arm action and good arm speed. He has a high leg lift in his delivery and generates good downhill plane and extension out front. His fastball has good life and sinking action, changeup shows good fade. Curveball has 12/6 shape and tight spin and quality depth. Defensively, showed solid actions and athleticism with very good arm strength throwing as high as 89 mph from the infield and 90 mph from the outfield. At the plate, starts with a big bat wrap stride into contact. Has a gap to gap approach and natural lift through the point of contact. Has the tools to hit at the next level as he continues to polish his game. Named to 2016 Sunshine South Top Prospect List.
