Cole Stobbe is a 2016 SS/2B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Omaha, NE who attends Millard West HS. Broad shouldered athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. 6.78 runner, long and loose arm action, good raw arm strength, works through the ball well, quick hands and a quick release, light on his feet, footwork is especially good to his backhand, not a pure shortstop at the highest level but can play all infield positions with skill. Right handed hitter, short and quick swing, everything simple and leveraged, very hard and consistent pull side line drive contact, has surprising pop in his swing and the ball really jumps well, has a feel for the barrel and sees the ball very well. Sum of the parts player who really performs. Good student, verbal commitment to Arkansas. Named to the Perfect Game All-American Classic team.
