LJ Jones is a 2017 1B/3B, OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Chula Vista, CA who attends Rancho Bernardo. Large frame, thick strong build. Hits with a low hand set, long aggressive swing, sweeps barrel to create whip, pullside power, good balance to swing and extends through contact well. Good carry on throws, very good receiver at first base and showed ability to pick throws in dirt well. Good student.
