Jayce Easley is a 2018 SS/MIF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Glendale, AZ who attends Sandra Day O'Connor HS. Slender very young build, lots of room to get stronger. 6.81 runner, has quick hands and good lower half agility in the infield, balanced at all times, can make plays on the move, has a quick release and makes accurate throws with some carry. Switch hitter, similar approach from both sides with good balance and feel for the barrel, line drive approach to all fields, makes contact with developing bat speed. Key for the future will be developing more strength. Son of 17-year MLB infielder Damion Easley. Good student, verbal commitment to Oregon State.
