Gabriel Rodriguez is a 2017 OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Toa Alta, PR who attends HS. Tall and very projectable athletic build. Left handed hitter, hits from a narrow base with a leg lift trigger, deep hand load with a big lower half coil, takes a full swing with good extension, length is a concern but develops lots of raw bat speed, looks to pull and ball and has lift in his swing. 6.76 runner, athletic actions in the outfield with a loose, whippy arm, very good arm strength, sound fundamentals through the ball and makes accurate throws.
