Chase Christopher is a 2016 RHP/1B with a 6-6 220 lb. frame from Athens, AL who attends Athens HS. Extra large and long build, has present strength. Long over the top arm action, upper half delivery with limited lower half use, gets downhill at times. Upper 70's fastball, topped out at 79 mph, mostly straight. Gets good spin on an upper 60's curveball with occasional 12/6 downer depth. Right handed hitter with a very spread stance, long swing with a downward swing plane, swings hard but needs to hit taller and looser, has power potential with adjustments. Good student.
