Michael Rodda is a 2022 3B/RHP, 1B, OF with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Temecula, CA who attends Great Oak. Long and lean build with plenty of room to fill out and strengthen as he continues to develop, posted a 7.10 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary infielder, fields out in front, meticulous with his reads off the bat. Clean gather and transfer, strong arm across the diamond. On the mound, has a longer arm action from a low three-quarters to side arm slot. Impressive velocity for the slot, up to 87 mph with his fastball. Great life and running actions to the heater. Mixes in a 73 mph slider with a slurvy feel to it. Also throws a 68 mph curveball with a low 11-to-5 shape. At the plate, uses a wide and slightly open stance with a bent front knee. Simple stride trigger, heavy impact out in front, ability to drive the ball into both gaps. At his best when working through the middle of the field.
