Aron Fried is a 2015 SS with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Ossining, NY who attends Ossining. Medium, athletic frame with broad shoulders and nice present strength that plays in game. Primary shortstop, moves well on his feet with solid athleticism, sound instincts. and nice range to both sides. Quick release on throws with present arm strength and carry and smooth actions. Right-handed hitters, starts with a spread lower half with low quiet hand set close to body. Quick line drive swing with a direct path to the ball, compact stroke, creates loud contact to all fields with some lift and carry off the barrel. Named to Northeast Top Prospect List. Very good student.
