Kevin Alonso is a 2020 SS/2B with a 5-9 159 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends Braden River HS. Recorded a 7.47 second 60-yard dash time. Solid frame with good athleticism and room to fill out. Primary shortstop with solid footwork and hands. Shorter arm stroke with really quick hands and arm strength recorded up to 77 mph across. Very good actions and glove work. Light on his feet and outstanding first step quickness. Switch hitter who graded out best from the left side. Spread open stance with a high hand set and a high back elbow. Big leg lift trigger into the swing with the ability to manipulate the barrel to pull. Contact oriented swing path and approach. Good student.
