Vaughn Grissom is a 2019 SS/2B/3B with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Hagerty HS. Large frame with excellent present physicality, has gained good strength in last several months. Hits from even-based stance with good balance to stroke, fires hips well into swing and gets rotated, generates leverage off of firm front side, showing more power now than he has in the past, serious offensive upside. Worked out in the infield, smoothness to footwork and overall actions, good range to both sides with balance to footwork, soft hands out front, quick release from lower slot, clocked up to 86 mph on throws. Good student, signed with Florida International. Named to 2019 World Showcase Top Prospect List.
