Jacob Price is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 6-5 215 lb. frame from Louisville, KY who attends Christian Academy of Louisville. Large frame with strong, maturing build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.74 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, crossfire stride and yank across at foot strike, higher slot release, fastball worked 76-80 mph with cutting action, lands open-toe with closed stride, showed solid CB with good spin and downward bite, also flashed slider with more horizontal break and changeup with fade. Hits from even-based stance with leg lift trigger, physically strong with good pull-side power when he gets the barrel out, shows power that way. Worked out at first base, fields out front with both hands, fields clean around and off the bag, clocked up to 79 mph on throws. Very good student.
