Mason Frady is a 2017 RHP/OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Sharpsburg, GA who attends East Coweta HS. Young athletic build, has room and time to get stronger. Big leg tuck delivery, fairly fast pace, some drop and drive to the plate, hides the ball very well prior to release and has deception, works very quick, tight high 3/4's release slot, repeats mechanics well. Steady mid-80's fastball, topped out at 87 mph, gets very good running life at times and works low in the zone. Slider gets good spin with a big sweeping bite, will occasionally lower release on the pitch and telegraph it. Works the corners and different quadrants with intent with both pitches. Got in rhythm and had a very effective outing. Good student.
