Malik Bell is a 2016 SS with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Powder Springs, GA who attends South Cobb HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength with more to come. 7.20 runner, has athletic actions in the middle infield, works through the ball with balance and fields the ball out front, shows good arm strength from a lower slot, throws have carry, has the tools to stay in the middle infield. Right handed hitter, crouched stance with a high hand set, aggressive swing and has some bat speed, line drive plane and contact, can shorten his path to the ball, has hitting tools to develop. Good student. Named to the Showcase Top Prospect Team.
