Delvin Perez is a 2016 SS/3B with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Loiza, PR who attends International Baseball Academy. Outstanding athletic build, broad shoulders with narrow hips, very projectable physically. 6.53 runner, shows very good range at shortstop, cannon for an arm, quick twitch athlete, good hands at the ball, can quicken release but arm strength makes up for it, has some flair and confidence on defense. Right handed hitter, big wrap and deep hand load create length to his swing, very good raw bat speed with a whippy barrel, flashes big power when pulling the ball, fires hips well and uses his lower half. High ceiling athlete who should be fun to watch develop.
