Alex Pickrell is a 2015 1B/ with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Denver, NC who attends North Lincoln. Pickrell has a medium strong build. Hits from a square stance with a high back elbow. Uses bat wiggle as timing mechanism. Quick short swing with good extension. Has lift in swing. Pull to mid field approach. Hips leak forward but does good job of getting backside around. Defensively, athletic fluid actions, arm works well. Fields out front and feet work on throws to second base. Good defender. Outstanding Student.
