2006 Northeast Top Prospect Showcase
Nick Serino is a 2007 LHP/OF with a 5'10'', 185 lb. frame from Saugus, MA who attends Malden Catholic HS. Nick has an athletic build and showed good potential on the mound at the showcase. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action. Nick has some effort in his delivery but does a good job of staying online with his mechanics and repeating his delivery. He shows a big backdoor 1 to 7 curveball and works very quick on the hill. Nick knows how to mix his pitches well and he had a very good outing at the showcase. He is a player that should attract the attention of many mid to high-level college programs.
