Justin Jarvis is a 2018 RHP/3B with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Mooresville, NC who attends Mooresville HS. Very slender build, lots of room to get stronger. Deep and long arm action in back but gets through on time, very fast arm, gets on top of the ball and works downhill. Low 90's fastball, topped out at 93 mph, potential there for more velocity with additional strength, gets good arm side running life at times. Flashes curveball feel in the mid-70's, best ones are 12/6 shaped with hard downer spin. Firm change up. Throws strikes with all his pitches and works quickly. Lots to like. Verbal commitment to UNC-Wilmington.
