Ronald Evans II is a 2019 2B/3B/SS with a 6-2 202 lb. frame from Raleigh, NC who attends Leesville Road HS. Extra-large, broad shouldered build with lots of present strength proportioned throughout frame, strong lower half. Ran a 7.18 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, fields the ball out front and hands play well at the ball with softness, nice footwork with balance to actions, shorter arm action through the back, accuracy throws from multiple arm slots, strength will continue to develop moving forward. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide and slightly open stance, high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Upper body dominant swing but stays short to the ball and shows ability to create leverage through the zone. Incorporates physical strength well and can go to the opposite field, shows bat speed and strength off the barrel, can work gap-to-gap with comfort.
