Jarrett Gonzales is a 2016 C/SS with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Madison HS. Has compact athletic build with room to fill out and get stronger. Balanced swing with a line drive plane. Has strength in swing and good control of the barrel. Makes consistent contact with good hand path to the ball. Defensively, primary a catcher, quick transfer and release, popped a 1.97, moves well behind plate and stays balanced. On the INF, has solid feet with good actions, works through ball well, solid backhand fundamentals with a quick release. Arm and actions play. Outstanding Student.
