Ethan Cummins is a 2016 SS with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Mississauga, ON who attends Lorne Park Secondary. Tall and slender athletic build, projects very well physically, has some present wiry strength. 6.92 runner, smooth athletic actions on defense, works through the ball well and stays low to the ball, good balance and footwork, really stood out in the games at both third base and shortstop with his play making ability. Right handed hitter, late pull back load, with a leg raise load he times well, swings hard and looks to impact the ball, nice extension through contact when he's timed up, will get early at times but has the wrist speed and quickness to still impact the ball. Plays relaxed and confident and has the ability to slow the game down. Solid college level prospect. Very good student.
