Zach Parks is a 2017 SS/RHP with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Lakeville, MN who attends Apple Valley HS. Tall slender young build, long limbs, projects physically. 6.94 runner, long athletic actions on defense, arm is loose and long with good carry and projects well, young footwork but is athletic enough to keep improving, should be able to play multiple positions if he outgrows shortstop. Left handed hitter, tends to jump in and raise up to contact, loses balance at contact, has a loose swing, spray line drive contact, should improve with approach adjustments and additional strength. Also pitched, high 3/4's arm slot with a whippy loose arm action, slow paced delivery, tends to fly open before release. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, curveball flashes hard spin and good depth but not consistent on release point, has pitching tools to develop.
