Cole Warken is a 2015 C with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Regina, SK who attends Martin Collegiate HS. Strong compact build, has some physical maturity. Right handed hitter, balanced straight stance, very good shift into contact, fast strong hands to the ball, very good bat speed, ball comes off the barrel hard and loud, solid game swings with gap to gap power, can improve lift with more extension out front, very good next level hitting tools. Athletic actions behind the plate, comfortable flexible set up, quick feet blocking and shifting, strong arm with accurate throws, slight pause at the top of his release slows down his pop times. 6.98 runner, has the athletic ability and bat to play multiple positions aside from catcher. Plays with energy and hustle. Very solid all around talent.
