Parker Towns is a 2015 RHP/1B with a 6-4 225 lb. frame from Tyler, TX who attends All Saints Episcopal HS. Extra-large, athletic build with broad shoulders and a strong, physical build with long limbs. Primary right-handed pitcher, throws from a high three-quarter arm slot with a full arm action coming through the back side. Controls body well and stays balanced and on line through delivery. Gets on top of the ball well and generates downhill plane on fastball that topped out at 88 mph and projects for more. Gets occasional cutting action on fastball and spots it well to both sides of the plate. Maintains arm slot on changeup at 79 mph. Slider shows short, 10-4 break at 76 mph with a strong feel for it. Curveball has 12-6 shape with depth and downward shape, mixes all four pitches well and maintained velocity throughout. Named to South Uncommitted Top Prospect List. Outstanding student.
