Jackson Taylor is a 2017 C/3B with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Hiawassee, GA who attends Towns County HS. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout build. Ran a 7.69 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, shows flexibility to lower half and does a nice job of gaining momentum on throws when popping out of crouch, quick transfer and shows quickness to arm action with strength and carry to throws. Lefthanded hitter at the plate, begins with a high back elbow in the box. Uses strength to generate bat speed and swings hard, short swing and found the barrel in live action, balls comes off well and shows strength at point of contact. Shows a feel for the barrel and continued extension in swing with help unlock additional power. Outstanding student.
