Cary Campbell is a 2016 3B/MIF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Conyers, GA who attends Salem HS. Medium athletic build, long limbs, projects well. Outstanding runner, 6.52 in the sixty, smooth athletic actions in the infield, moves well to the ball, low slot throwing with developing arm strength, makes accurate throws, tools may profile best in centerfield in the future. Right handed hitter, narrow bent knee stance, short quick hand path to the ball, lacks extension but generates some bat speed, looks to pull the ball, has the hitting tools and athleticism to improve. Threw a quick inning and topped out at 77 mph from the mound from a high 3/4's arm slot. Named to the Showcase All Prospect Team.
