Jaylon Lucky is a 2022 OF/1B, 2B, 3B, UT with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Westlake. Tall slender build primary outfielder showed some solid athletic ability across the board. Ran a 6.87 second sixty yard dash threw 80 mph from the outfield. He is comfortable with the glove and had solid footwork on all the plays he had in the outfield. He made accurate throws when he was able to move through the ball and get his lower half in line toward the base he was throwing toward. Lucky exudes athletic actions and showed the ability to play anywhere in the field on defense, with outfield being the priority to display his skills. The right-handed hitter showed quick hands and bat speed in the box out of a step back stride stance. He gathers his hands into the slot when he steps back, then strides directly toward pitcher with hitterish actions. He can really swing the bat with good carry on line drives to the pull side. Lucky just needs to play and get experience with his athletic upside. Solid student with a 2.9 GPA and a quiet, polite demeanor.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
