Drew Rothschild is a 2022 3B/RHP, C, 1B, 2B with a 5-10 186 lb. frame from Cartersville, GA who attends Cartersville. Large and physical frame with strength throughout. Ran a 7.75 second 60 yard dash. Primary third baseman, worked out in the infield moving well with softness to his hands, actions play at a corner with arm strength to play third, topped out at 80 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher, starts his delivery with a side step gathering over the rubber up to a leg lift slightly above his belt line, takes his arm back to a compact and quick arm action, stays on time with arm at foot strike, topped out at 82 mph with his fastball and featured a three pitch mix, curveball has developing spin and he can land it at the bottom of the zone, changeup is straight. Also worked out at catcher, took reps with a wide based stance, stays through the baseball, shows carry to his throws, accurate with arm, graded out best behind the dish. Right-handed hitter, sets up at the plate with an open stance and a high hand set, toe tap trigger, has hand speed to the baseball with a feel in the box, will get inconsistent with swing plane but shows tools to work with, patient approach and looks to impact the ball to the middle of the field.
