Jack Ferguson is a 2019 LHP/OF with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Alpharetta, GA who attends Johns Creek HS. Lean, athletic frame with a bit shorter of a frame but long, loose limbs and room to add strength and physicality to the build. Primary lefthanded pitcher with a quiet, simple delivery that incorporates few wasted parts. Stays online through extension with good direction toward the plate. Full, clean arm circle that leads to an over the top release point and can work to both sides of the plate effectively. Three-pitch mix with a curveball and changeup but went to curveball more often as a secondary offering. Nice 12/6 break on the pitch and able to throw it for strikes. Fastball recorded up to 80 mph and pitched off it effectively. Slows arm slightly on changeup but feel for pitchability and overall repertoire. Good student.
