Cameron Cauley is a 2021 SS/IF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Mont Belvieu, TX who attends Barbers Hill. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to fill out and get stronger. Outstanding runner, 6.48 in the sixty, 4.21 home to first base from the right side, plays the game with quickness. Quickness shows his swing approach, fast hands drive his swing, rotational upper half, flashes surprising pull power when the barrel is out, has barrel whip. Active feet in the infield on defense, aggressive to the ball, smooth coming in on the ball, showed a strong arm across the infield. Very interesting young athlete with lots of energy to his game and projection in the future. Very good student, verbal commitment to Texas Tech.
