Drew Beiger is a 2018 1B/3B, RHP with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Alpharetta, GA who attends Alpharetta. XL frame with long, lean present build; high levels of projection remaining on body. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.02 seconds. Sets up to hit from relaxed stance with high hand set, big leg lift trigger with good tempo, shifts well into contact and gets lower half involved. Quick hands create good bat speed, very clean barrel path to the ball with good leverage at contact, drove the ball consistently with big time power projection. Worked out defensively in a pair of spots. Fields out front well with two hands at both 1st base and SS, bends well at waist, shows very good arm strength across from both positions, throwing 80 MPH from 1B and 82 MPH from SS. Pitched as well, showed long arm stroke with slight hook through the back up to overtop arm slot, good plane downhill, fastball worked 75-79 MPH with good command. Showed curveball with 12/6 shape and very good depth, was able to throw the curve both for strikes and as a chase pitch. Did a very good job pounding the zone with both pitches. Outstanding student.
