Trejyn Fletcher is a 2020 OF/RHP/SS with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Portland, ME who attends Cheverus HS. Outstanding athletic build, mature physically for his age, highest level combination of strength and quick twitch athleticism. Right handed hitter, very aggressive hitter who swings with intent and plus bat speed, precocious power potential, ball makes a different sound, will expand the zone and chase outside at times but attacks mid plate and in. three doubles in one game. Easy plus runner underway, would not be surprised to see him run in the 6.4-6.5 range. Young outfield actions and footwork, shows his arm strength well. Also pitched, drop and drive delivery, varies his arm slot up and down the spectrum almost randomly, compact and quick arm. Fastball topped out at 90 mph, slider had very hard and tight spin, filled up the zone with both pitches and was very effective. Will be very fun to watch him develop his skills over the next few years and beyond. Verbal commitment to Vanderbilt.
