2017 PG Underclass All American Games
Ben Kailher is a 2019 SS/2B with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Rumford, RI who attends Providence Country Day HS. Slender young build with room to get stronger. Ran 6.8 in the sixty at the PG Sunshine Southeast Showcase in June, has quick infield actions with plenty of agility, stays low through the ball, nice backhand footwork and glove, good arm strength with carry on his throws, has the tools for the middle of the field. Right handed hitter, high leg lift trigger from an open stance, loose extended swing, has good hand quickness and can adjust the barrel to different zones, looks to pull the ball but will go opposite as well, can get long at times but has a feel on how to hit. Good student, verbal commitment to Penn State.
