Aaron Lange is a 2017 1B/RHP with a 6-3 235 lb. frame from Valparaiso, IN who attends Homeschool. Large frame with a strong, thick build and lots of strength present. Posted a 7.28 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary first basemen, fields clean with feel for backhand with sound footwork and fluid actions through throws. At the plate, started open with a shift and stride to the ball to create separation. Elastic hand load with lots of jump off the barrel, line drive swing plane through the zone with intent to drive the ball. Strength plays well through the swing with an active barrel and consistent path. Also pitched, threw from a high three quarter arm slot with varying arm speed and square landing. Fastball worked 75-76 mph with a developing curveball in the low 60's. Outstanding student. Named to Top Prospect List.
